What is a CDJ? What is a Piccolo? What does a “music mediator” do? What is “Resident Advisor” for? Theresa Wunderlin and Ilayda Zeyrek asked themselves these questions for 041 – das kulturmagazin. Theresa Wunderlin plays in the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and therefore appears regularly at the KKL. Ilayda Zeyrek is also known by her DJ pseudonym Kalixys. She regularly plays at klub kegelbahn at Baselstrasse in Lucerne. With the two of them, two worlds come together that couldn’t be more different. “High culture” and “club culture”.
During the conversation at klub kegelbahn, however, it turns out that everything is not so completely different than one might initially think. Be it the drug use in the scene or the pressure to perform that people are exposed to.
